Spring has burst forth. Everything is green and bright. The geese have hatched their goslings. Flowers have bloomed. Around me, all nature seems to be resting.

The ducks glide on the creek. The geese glide in the creek.

And the flowers, blooming, let themselves be nourished by sun and rain.

I need rest, too. The spring has been busy with work and parenting, and the summer is likely to be intense with both. But I can learn nature’s lessons. For today at least, I too will let myself be nourished by sun and rain and spring.
